Freedom Plaza, a roughly 113,000-square-foot retail shopping center which broke ground in the summer of 2018, is being built as part of the Jordan Downs revitalization project in South Los Angeles, one of the largest urban redevelopment projects in the U.S.

This open-air shopping center will feature over 500 feet of frontage on Alameda Street and an immediate trade area population in excess of 250,000. As part of the $5B mixed-use, mixed-income transformational project, the trade area will include 1,400 new residential homes.
